Leaffish.jpg (43598 bytes)Bora Bora is part of French Polynesia. The lagoon is warm and has many shades of blue and lots of life. You may see tuna, rays, mantas and sharks. Turtles are normally seen at sea.

We understand that the local operators usually dive close to the pass and up to the Northern point of the island.  When considering booking on Bora Bora you may like to ask: how long is the journey from the hotel/dive centre to the dive site? Some accommodation is a long way from the Teavanni Pass which is the only pass to the open ocean and you may need to carry/transfer your dive kit between transports.

There are good diving facilities, wrecks, caves, walls and coral gardens on other islands in the area such as Huahine, Manihi, Raiatea and Rangitoa but we don't have any details. Can you help please?
