"It seems most people aren't aware that there's diving in Cambodia,
let alone really good diving. Perhaps this is because Cambodia's
locked in between Thailand and Vietnam and has a rather limited
coastline. Increased environmental awareness and protected areas have
allowed the schools of coral fish to replenish, and Cambodian diving
now easily rivals its neighbours, only you'll have the whole reef to
yourself when you go diving." EcoSea Dive, Kyoko Ohashi.
"The islands off the coast of Cambodia provide excellent
diving locations and white sand beaches. There are world class dive
sites such as Condor Reef and Poulo Wai waiting to be explored. The
best diving is from late October to June with water temperatures a
tropical 27-310c and visibility typically ranges from 10-25+ metres.
Obviously one of the main attractions to diving here is that it has been
so little dived that most of the dive sites are unmapped and lots of the
diving is still at exploration stage". Gerard and Vicky, Scuba Nation
Diving Centre. |
