The island is known for its wonderful reefs, caves, wrecks, rays, sharks and whales. Winter is around November when it may rain. It has golden beaches and the viz is normally around 20m/66ft. |

Location: Sosua. Depth: 19.5m.
Bottom time 37 minutes. Visibility: 20+. Water temp 28oC. Boat dive. A pyramid
shaped reef known as La Plaza. A good dive but a group of divers before us did kick up the bottom
a bit. Plenty of fish but I did think
Tres Rocas a better dive though. |

| Tres Rocas (Three rocks) |

Location: Sosua. Depth: 21m. Bottom time 34 minutes. Visibility: 20+. Water temp 28oC. A 5 minute trip by hard boat to a reef known as Tres Rocas. We descended in midwater to the bottom in crystal clear water. We saw: Yellow tail snapper, Peacock flounder, trumpet fish, sergeant major, three spot damselfish and Doctor fish. We dived with First class Divers. |
