Montserrat, is a tiny island of the Lesser Antilles between Antigua, Guadeloupe  and St Kitts in the eastern Caribbean. It offers all the splendours of Caribbean diving where you may see corals, barrel sponges, rays, seahorses and a multitude of colourful reef fish. The shelf surrounding the island drops to around 20metres/60 feet before becoming a wall down to 4000ft. Don't drop your kit!
The volcanic explosion of 1995 damaged the southern part of the island and the spectacle of an erupting volcano can be witnessed from a safe distance.
Emergency: Dial 911 There is no recompression chamber in Montserrat. The nearest chambers are in Puerto Rico and St. Croix.
