Papua New
Guinea has some very remote areas. If you decide to pay the shark
fishermen of Kontu to lure sharks to your boat using magic, you will
need to travel the 250km track by truck. Kontu has no facilities - no
electricity, piped water or health centre. It is in the island province
of New Ireland which is 350km long. The forested hills fall to a reef
fringed coast.
