The granite Scilly Islands are off the south west tip of England. The main islands for visitors are St. Mary's and Tresco. The Scillies are reached either by helicopter, ship or small plane from Penzance/Weymouth or France. You could try diving the eastern isles with grey seals or go looking for jewel anemones. Or look out for dolphins,  porpoises and basking sharks.

Bryher

Hell Bay gets it's name from the strong Atlantic storms crashing its side. The eastern side is calm and said to be safe for diving and snorkeling.

St. Agnes

A tranquil island of flower farming and fishing with sandy coves and rugged granite outcrops. Bird watching is a favourite hobby due to migrating birds.

For non-divers:

The tourist season is March to October. The one comment everyone makes is how tranquil the islands are. Many people enjoy island hopping to see what each of the islands offer. Boats leave regularly in season.

There is no crime on the Scillys.
