  • "Motril Wreck" near Malaga. A cargo vessel which sank in 1937. Depth 25m - 30m. An interesting and relatively virgin wreck site. Only recently found (2001) with a GPS and proton magnetometer/sonar.
  • A Roman ship - name  unknown. Found off Villajoyosa, Costa Blanca in 2000. It is a 22m/70ft long cargo vessel and is 25m down. There are 2000 amphorae in it and Spanish archaeologists will excavate it over the next 10 years.
